SCT's very own Johamy Morales, Director of Education, will be directing the first in a series of Milwaukee First Stage's newly announced Amplify - First Stage's BIPOC Virtual Short Play Series, which will be developed and produced throughout Spring 2021. Johamy will be directing COPPER HORNS IN WATER By Ty Defoe.
Celebrating the female creatives bringing new works to our stages, Cheryl West, playwright of past SCT productions like Mwindo (2015), was recently mentioned in Crosscut’s article 'Seattle playwrights are already writing for the post-pandemic future'. Keep your eye out for a mention of SCT's upcoming adaptation of The Watson's Go to Birmingham - 1963.
