SCT TO CLOSE THROUGH MAY 31, 2020 AMID COVID-19

3/13/2020

Dear SCT Community,

I am sure you have seen the new recommendations from Governor Inslee, released earlier today, aimed at reducing the spread of the coronavirus.
As a result, SCT is joining the many other cultural organizations throughout our region and closing our doors. Effective immediately we will suspend the remainder of our season and all educational programming planned through Spring of 2020, with the aim of reopening June 2020 in preparation for summer educational activities.

At SCT, we put young people at the center of every decision we make, their health and safety, along with that of our staff and artists, is our top priority.

These are extraordinary times, but theatre is the very act of coming together in community, in real time, for shared experience. As we come through this global pandemic, and it is once again safe to gather in community, we look forward to sharing stories of joy and resiliency with audiences of all ages.

All ticket holders for the remainder of our 19-20 season as well as all Drama School families affected by this change will be contacted in the coming days with more information. We thank you for your patience and support as we continue to navigate this unprecedented situation for the good of our community.

Sincerely,

Kevin Malgesini
Managing Director
