Activity 1:   Movement Activity for the whole family from The Very Hungry Caterpillar

In The Very Hungry Caterpillar, the hungry caterpillar eats its way through many foods to transform into a butterfly. In this exercise, everyone will build their imaginations by engaging in creative movement and play to learn the life cycle of a caterpillar.

Activity 2:  Drawing/Create Your Own Edward activity from The Velveteen Rabbit

In The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane, everyone who meets Edward transforms him into what they need him to be. By helping them through different challenges, he is rewarded with new experiences and learns to love others. Here is a china rabbit of your very own, waiting to transform and go on a journey.

We want to see your finished designs! Take a picture of your drawing and comment below or tag us with #sctathome to be a part of the conversation.  In The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane, everyone who meets Edward transforms him into what they need him to be.
