SCT’S NEW ARTISTIC ADVISORs CIRCLE PUSHES STATUS QUO, REIMAGINES ARTISTIC LEADERSHIP AND COLLABORATION IN TYA FIELD
Seattle, Wash.-- Seattle Children’s Theatre in pleased to introduce the SCT Artistic Advisors Circle; a cohort of five theatre leaders joining SCT to make artistic decisions for the upcoming 21-22 and 22-23 seasons, as well as advocating for new work development to support the Theatre’s pipeline during the Artistic Director search.

(Seattle, Wash.) — Seattle Children’s Theatre has been approved for a $20,000 Art Works grant to support its upcoming production The Best Summer Ever! which follows the adventures of nine-year-old Maurice Abernathy Anderson during his final summer before things get complicated.
(Seattle, Wash., December 20, 2019) – The Seattle Children’s Theatre (SCT) Board of Trustees and Managing Director Kevin Malgesini announced today that Courtney Sale, Artistic Director, will step down from her role in February 2020 and assume the Nancy L. Donahue Artistic Director position at The Merrimack Repertory Theatre (MRT) in Lowell, MA. Sale will lead the production of seven new plays each season.
